Senator Samir Patres in The Duskbloods: Test Kit

Who is Senator Samir Patres?

Senator Samir Patres is a playable Bloodsworn whose Network Test kit combined precise swordplay, a spectral ranged attack, blood magic, and a dramatic dinosaur transformation. His passive effects connected skill progression and well-timed guarding to stronger combat options.

What weapons did Samir Patres use?

Slot	Official Network Test weapon	Function
Melee	Senate Rapier	A narrow, well-tempered straight sword used as the primary weapon.
Ranged	Soulbird Ring	Sends out a prehistoric spectral bird for ranged attacks.

What were Samir Patres’ Bloodsworn Skills?

Bloodstake formed a pool of blood beneath an enemy before a huge blood stake erupted upward. Saurian Form transformed Samir Patres into a carnivorous dinosaur that charged and attacked with its jaws.

The official guide confirms these functions but does not provide launch damage, timing, cooldown, or transformation duration.

What were Samir Patres’ Aspects?

Aspect	Confirmed Network Test effect
Blood Disciple	Lowered the level required to unlock Bloodsworn Skills.
Unshakable Sword	Increased melee attack power after a perfect guard.

Will this kit remain unchanged?

Bloodsworn Skills and Aspects are planned to be customizable in the release version. This page records the official Network Test configuration; it does not claim that the same combination or balance will ship at launch.
